problem creating new character in Miriani

Hello,
I tried to conect to Miriani with Monkey Term.
There was written "To create new character, type NeW as your user name".
I tried it and I was disconected.
Help, pls!

How do I create a new character? when I type in the name and password for the one I had before I get a message saying the username or password is invalid. I've tried typing in the username and password with both upper and lowercase letters, and it still wouldn't take it. Grrrr!

I love Miriani. The name is James Chambers. There are a lot of people on the zone that play. I find that to be pretty cool.
